The installation has begun. In one week's time, three edit bays will be fully functioning, speaking to one machine room. It's been a long wait, but the day has finally arrived. 

The new Macs arrived today. Out with the old and in with the new. Both 12 Core Mac Westmere's with 12 Gig of memory. Steel Canyon can now provide non-linear editing in three bays.

Steel Canyon is in the process of making a major upgrade to our studio. We'll have pictures shortly. Just finished new flooring. The machine room for our shared storage will be running by the first of March. It will connect three state-of-the-art HD/SDI bays into one cohesive unit, and feature HDCAM-SR and DIGITAL BETACAM.
